Ratter v Halcrow (2005)
A motorcyclist was in a collision with a pedestrian who had emerged from an embankment onto the road and was struck by the left handlebar of the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was seriously injured as a result.
The motorcyclist recovered damages in full as the pedestrian had a policy of household contents insurance with Public Liability cover.
