I ride too!
Many motorcyclists have cars as well as their motorbikes.
Car Insurers have recognised that their policyholders who also own and ride a motorcycle are usually far better drivers and tend to be much more aware and considerate of vulnerable road users as they know what it's like to be one.
So, we wanted to find a way for bikers driving their cars to be able to tell other bikers that the person in the vehicle in front of them is also a biker who will:-
- Regularly look in their mirrors to see who is travelling behind them.
- Check their mirrors before indicating and moving out to pass vehicles in front of them.
- Move to the side when in stationary or slow-moving traffic and give room for motorcyclists to legally filter.
- Will be especially vigilant and look out for those travelling on two wheels (cyclists and motorcyclists) at junctions and roundabouts.
So, we have produced this car rear window sticker. We hope you like it.
